5 Things this Christmas Season
It's December and there are so many fabulous things to see and do around town to get into the Christmas spirit. Here are our top 5 picks as we Countdown to Christmas in Abbotsford!
- Mt. Lehman Sojourn in the Country: A Seasonal Celebration
Come experience holiday magic as you taste, sip, savor, smell and shop while visiting the various gardens, wineries, bistros and cottages dotting the countryside in Mt. Lehman. You can visit the website Mt Lehman Sojourn in the Country for more details on locations and offerings.
- Winter Jubilee in Historic Downtown Abbotsford
The 28th annual Christmas Tree Lighting and celebration is happening this coming weekend in downtown Abbotsford. You don't want to miss this event where you can kick off the holiday season with the tree lighting ceremony, live entertainment, a craft beer and wine garden, children’s activities, handmade and artisan marketplaces, carolers, food trucks, pony rides, a family photo booth and the arrival of Santa + Mrs. Claus! It's always a blast. Find out more details on the Winter Jubilee.
- Highstreet Holiday Show
Highstreet likes to kick off Christmas in November but keep the party going as every Saturday night they host a Holiday Show at 5:00pm in the Central Plaza.
We'd be amiss not to mention Highstreet's Spread the Red campaign. It is all about sharing the love this holiday season, be sure to check it out and nominate someone today because the contest closes soon.
- Christmas Sweets: Songs, Strings & Steps
There is nothing like a sweet...or should I say suite concert to get you into the Christmas Spirit. Songs, Strings and Steps presents a holiday concert Christmas Sweets featuring lots of talent and timeless classics as well as tasty treats. For showtimes click here .
- Oh Holy Night: PMCC
Yes, another concert but we cant resist Oh Holy Night put on by the Pacific Mennonite Children's Choir. If the weather is wet and ugly this is a great option being held at Bakerview Church.
We hope you enjoy the countdown to Christmas and be sure to tell us about any other local Christmas events we need to know about.
