EcoDairy Staff Feature: Kaylee!
This month’s staff feature is all about Kaylee, our girl from out of town. Kaylee joined our team earlier in the school year and you’ll usually be able to find her here at the dairy on weekends and helping with camps!
Let’s get to know her a little better…
Full Name: Kaylee Bolle
What does your day-to-day look like at EcoDairy: My day to day at the Ecodairy is mostly giving tours to walk in groups, but I also try to spend as much time as possible with the pigs out in the petting zoo!
Something you’ve learned while working here: I have learned so much since I started working here! My favourite fact to tell people is that cows poop 60kg a day! That’s more than some adults weigh!
Do you have a favourite cow in the barn? My favourite cow is Willamina! If you come into the barn you’ll recognize her as the cow that is completely black, even her tongue and her udder! She’s our only cow that looks like that, so she’s pretty special.
Something we should know about you? Something you should know about me is that I was actually born and raised in Saskatoon, SK and only moved out here two years ago to go to school. I have been loving these BC winters, but this one has looked a little too familiar for my tastes!
