MOOVALOUS MASHED POTATOES

‘Tis the season for turkey and stuffing but we cannot forget to make mention of the classic favorite at Christmas dinner : mashed potatoes.

Mashed potatoes come in all tastes and textures...there is creamy smooth or lumpy and bumpy; there is soupy & goopy or thick and creamy; covered in gravy or smothered in butter.

However you like your mashed potatoes we know how to make them MOOvalous.

We think the secret ingredient for perfect mashed potatoes is milk.

Here is an easy recipe to make your mashed potatoes MOOvalous

-2 pounds potatoes peeled and quartered

-2 tablespoons butter

-1 cup Vitala milk

- salt and pepper to taste

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes; drain.
  2. In a small saucepan heat butter and milk over low heat until butter is melted. Using a potato masher or electric beater, slowly blend milk mixture into potatoes until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
